Workshop window with acetate "glass"

One for the scratchbuilders, this lasercut silkboard window features 40 square windowpanes, designed to be cut into segments at will and used to create angular windows of all sizes, and scales.

Also suitable to use by itself, as a large industrial/factory/hangar-style window.

Includes 2 sheets of 0,3 mm thin acetate "glass": one featuring the total frame's outline and one featuring lasercut windowpanes in the exact corresponding positions as the frame's panes.

Description

One for the scratchbuilders, this lasercut silkboard window features 40 square windowpanes, designed to be cut into segments at will and used to create angular windows of all sizes, and scales.

Also suitable to use as a large industrial/factory/hangar-style window.

Includes 2 sheets of 0,3 mm thin acetate:
one featuring the total windowframe's outline, to mount as a solid sheet to it's back,
and one featuring lasercut windowpanes in the exact corresponding positions as the frame's panes.

You can either glue this sheet as one piece to the back of the window, or cut all panes loose and glue them separately in all frames (leaving you options to paint, matte, whitewash or depict them as shattered or even missing).

Size of frame: 52 x 83 mm.
Each windowpane measures 9 x 9 mm. 
The slats are 1 mm wide.

They acquired the "lancet" name from their resemblance to a lance.<br /> <br /> Their popularity was revived during the Gothic revival of the 19th century, so that they are seen in Christian cathedrals and churches all over the world.</p>
