<p>To use the mold, stretch paper tape across its backside, lay it on a flat and surface, place a ball of airdrying clay upon it, and work it into the cavities.<br /> Drag/scrape a straight and firm plastic spatula (or the edge of another mold) across the surface, skimming off the surplus material. Leave to dry, remove the paper tape, then push out the individual bricks using a blunt stick (like the reverse end of a brush).<br /> Warning: do NOT bend the mold. It is acrylate, not silicon. You will break it.<br /> <br /> To get rid of any sharp edges - and make your bricks look more realistic - rub small amounts of them together gently between the palms of your hands, softening their edges.<br /> <br /> You can colour your clay/putty by working in pigments before pressing it into the mold, or paint it after drying.<br />  </p>

<p>One for the scratchbuilders, this lasercut silkboard window features 40 square windowpanes, designed to be cut into segments at will and used to create angular windows of all sizes, and scales.<br /> <br /> Also suitable to use as a large industrial/factory/hangar-style window.<br /> <br /> Includes 2 sheets of 0,3 mm thin acetate:<br /> one featuring the total windowframe's outline, to mount as a solid sheet to it's back,<br /> and one featuring lasercut windowpanes in the exact corresponding positions as the frame's panes.<br /> <br /> You can either glue this sheet as one piece to the back of the window, or cut all panes loose and glue them separately in all frames (leaving you options to paint, matte, whitewash or depict them as shattered or even missing).<br /> <br /> Size of frame: 52 x 83 mm.<br /> Each windowpane measures 9 x 9 mm. <br /> The slats are 1 mm wide.</p>

<p>Our first small-scale set features one 3-part lancet-window kit, to be stacked and glued together, plus two separate rosewindows in 1:76th scale, lasercut in architectural silkboard.<br /> <br /> Tall and narrow, with pointed arches, lancet-windows are typical of church edifices of the earliest European Gothic period, from 1140 onwards. They acquired the "lancet" name from their resemblance to a lance.<br /> <br /> Rose- or Catherine- windows are particularly characteristic of Gothic architecture, though their origins are much earlier and they appear in various forms throughout the Medieval period. <br /> <br /> Both windows' popularity was revived during the Gothic revival of the 19th century, so that they are seen in Christian cathedrals and churches all over the world.</p>

<p>One large (58 mm diameter) and two small (21 mm diameter) Soviet hammer-and-sickle-emblems surrounded by laurel wreaths, laser-cut and -engraved in 1,5 mm strong silkboard.<br /> <br /> To be used as wall-reliefs/plaques on administrative/government buildings or monuments, or as base decoration.<br /> <br /> The hammer and sickle, in Russian: серп и мо́лот (serp i molot, “sickle and hammer”) is a communist symbol conceived during the Russian Revolution.<br /> Originally the hammer represented the industrial proletariat, the sickle peasantry; combined they represented the worker-peasant alliance for socialism.</p> <p>After WWII and the Russian Civil War, it became widely used as symbol for peaceful labour within the Soviet Union and international proletarian unity.<br /> It remains commonplace in Russia and other former Union republics even after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.<br /> <br /> Inspired by the 1917 design by Yevgeny Ivanovich Kamzolkin.</p>
